The Grand Opening of the Everycare offices was a good and successful day and despite a few raindrops at the start of the day the sun did come out for us.
The building outside was decorated with bunting and the main office was made extra colourful with balloons in the Everycare colours of blue and orange, The ribbon was in place and the visitors came to join in with our celebration.
If you ever saw the inside of our last office and its location you will understand why we love this large bright office, with lots of windows and in a tranquil and a beautiful location so much.
After our director and Care manager Karen Whitmill gave a speech, we were then officially opened by the Mayor of Winchester Cllr Angela Clear and what a wonderful, vibrant Mayor she is, she was very complimentary of the work we do as a care company calling our carers the unsung heroes of our society.
We were joined by local figures, some of whom we work in collaboration with and who we are lucky that they advocate for us, we were also blessed to have some of our wonderful clients and their family members and our hardworking and dedicated carers there to join us.
During our opening we had the pleasure of meeting up with the Hyde Abbey Bowls club personnel– we have joined forces with the club through sponsorship so we were delighted to see the art work that will be displayed at the club advertising the Everycare services – we are very much looking forward to working alongside the club and to hold future events in the bowls club – and of course for our clients and staff to have a game of bowls.
There was much chatter and plenty of laughs during the opening and visitors tucked into a small buffet and a wonderful cake that was cut by Karen.
We are very excited about what the future holds for Everycare and the Grand Opening was just the beginning of our new chapter in the world of care, we plan to continue going from strength to strength and to bring you all along for the ride. Look out for our many events we are planning – the new offices mean we can do much more community work and bring new fresh ideas and make them reality without compromising the work we already do.
Everycare is committed to making a difference for everyone that needs our services and beyond that, we want to make a difference to those in the Winchester community.
